Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Berz completed his undergraduate and master’s degree in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt. He earned his medical degree and PhD from Humboldt University in Berlin. He completed his residency in Norwalk Hospital in Yale University in Connecticut. He then went to Brown University where he finished his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and earned his master’s degree in public health.
Dr. Berz is triple board-certified with specialties in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. He is a world-renowned oncologist and is a leading figure in the industry. He has worked in oncology centers in the United Kingdom, Israel and Canada. He has key oncology publications in major journals across the United States and Europe. He leads many of the latest research and clinical trials and continues to function as a consultant for multiple pharmaceutical industry partners.
On his free time, Dr. Berz loves to travel, go hiking and running. He speaks German, Russian, Hebrew and Spanish. He is compassionate and committed to his profession, and his patients speak highly of him.
